Hello DMC!
I am not an adoptee, but an adoptee's mother. I am the very proud "mommy" of a 3 year old little girl. We adopted her from a Chinese orphanage in Foshan, Guangdong, China in August of 2005. We have named her Alayna. And she id the love of my life! I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I could not possibly love her anymore than if she came from my womb! And that we were meant to be together... divine intervention!
I watched your documentary for the 2nd time last night. It is very moving. And it brought tears to my eyes. Knowing that we will provide Alayna (Laynee) with all of the information we have, but she will still never know who her birth parents are, really concerns me. We can only hope to surround her with other adoption stories and support, in efforts to make her journey easier. We love her so much, we never want her to suffer. But we are realistic, and know that there will come a time when this is all so very important to her.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I would like her to have a copy of your video and CD.
Thank you so much! Your mothers must be so proud of you!!!
Sincerely,
Nancy
