Peace and much props and love to DMC!
I heard along the net talk of the first 4 albums being reissued with unreleased bonus tracks! this would make me a very happy man (especially if its on wax too!) cant wait ! - could anyone elaborate, as there hasnt been much talk apart from a press release about the size of a paragraph, its not enough!
cant wait to hear all of DMCs new tracks also,..
Btw nice job with site!!

It would be cool with some bonus stuff, but I don't know if I would re-buy the albums.. _________________ tHe MuRdER CaPiTaL oF thE woRLd |

I'll probably end up buying them because I've got all of Run DMC's stuff on cassette still.
Are the new CD's remastered too? |

yes indeed...
my only gripe is that most of the archival stuff was available when all the albums were first remastered & rereleased by Arista back in '99... shortly after which I had bought them.. I guess the joke's on me-- but seriously.. I also wish that Back From Hell and Down With the King gets a deluxe re-release as well-- There was a great "Back from Hell" remix with Ice Cube & Chuck D; also, on Down With the King, I think there were several cuts recorded but not released, including a collaboration with Bay Area rappers N2Deep (remember "back to the hotel", '92?)
some feedback to Sony/BMG might help: www.rundmcmusic.com |

I've got the Back From Hell remix with Chuck and Cube on my computer. It's pretty good. |

Word, they have a joint called "Know What I'm Saying" that was supposed to be on Crown Royal that didn't make it. I wanted that song! |

That would be sweet if they did release all those tracks. I have the original version of Simmons Incorporated which was called No Further Delay and had DMC rapping on it. It was better than the version released. It had a different beat too. It was on a cd single called the beginning.
I also know that they did a remix of It's Tricky that a DJ friend of mine had with a bonus verse in the beginning of the song that I have never been able to find.
DMC, if you are reading this, please release all of these unreleased tracks on a CD. We want them. I would die happy to have every little thing you guys have done.
One other thing, change the background on the forum posts from maroon to something light so I can see what I'm typing. |
