Too many people are asking about Dee's voice. Here is the reason (from Wikipedia):
"Darryl McDaniels has a neurological voice condition called Spasmodic Dysphonia which causes his vocal cord to pull together when he speaks."

| My wife has the same problem, it's a condition where the muscles controlling the vocal cords don't operate smoothly, but spasm at the most inopportune moments. It's easily treatable, she goes in every 4-6 months, and her voice is now strong and perfect. |
